Dominion Promotional Cards List

dominion promotional cards listInterspersed with the other main Dominion releases (large and small expansions), promotional cards have been introduced as mini-expansions.  Each “expansion” consists of a single card.  As they are single-card releases, they do not carry themes or introduce significant new trends or game mechanics as do the larger releases.  However, every new Dominion card that is released affects the game and adds variability and new strategic options when it is in play.

Promotional cards have been released in November 2008 (Envoy), March 2009 (Black Market), February 2010 (Stash), June 2011 (Walled Village), and October 2011 (Governor).

So, for the sake of completeness, here is the Dominion promotional cards list!

Dominion Promotional Cards List: Conclusion

The Dominion promo cards don’t bring significant new themes because they are few in number.  But, as always, they bring more strategic options to the overall game.  Since they are promotional releases, they can be harder to buy and may carry more collectible value than the larger, more common, more easily obtained boxed sets.  The easiest way to get them is either through your local niche gaming store, ebay, or through BoardGameGeek.com.  Regardless, if you have landed here as someone new to the game, be sure to check out the primer on How to Play Dominion. As new strategy articles are written, they will appear in the Dominion Strategy section. But, don’t get caught up too much in the minutia – keep playing and having fun!

    Hi!
Does anyone know where you can get a copy of the mid-index naming all of the cards in the box, which helps in the sorting/finding process at the beginnnig and end of every game? We lost our overview index, and its such a pain in the b… to find cards and clean up after the game is finished..
    Thank you!!

      Anna,
If you click on each of the links to the expansion games here, you can find the rules linked on each expansion’s page. Not sure if that is what you want, but it might help. Good luck!

I put all the cards in a card box (like M:TG or baseball cards) divided by toploaders indexed in alphabetical order with each letter (A,B,C etc) having a header toploader with that letter on it (used an index tab). The entire Dominion Universe will fit in a 3-slot box. This allows setting up and tearing down a kingdom in MINUTES! It is much easier to carry around 1 box with everything instead of 9 boxes. I also recommend getting a collapsing folder to put all the literature in a safe place and have handy. You’ll need a storage medium for the tokens; I use a little pouch. Hope this helps!
